Le Refuge Alpin

Brigitte est une hôtesse accueillante et sympathique. Son gîte est un cocon aménagé avec goût, très agréable où il fait bon vivre. Au calme avec beau panorama. Centre de Morzine à 10mn à pied. Très bon séjour pour 6 adultes et un bébé.

4 jours invités par nos amis pour une super expérience dans ce joli chalet bien équipé. Je recommande +++. Bien placé à la sortie de Morzine en retrait de la route. Belle vue sur la ville et la montagne en face. Beaucoup de randonnées a proximité pour l été et remontées mécaniques au coeur du village.

Nous avons passé une semaine fantastique au refuge alpin où nous avons été merveilleusement accueillis et où nous avons dégusté, repas après repas, une cuisine fabuleuse. Cherry et Anne-Marie, épaulées par Darren, le gérant, ont tout fait pour rendre notre séjour des plus reposants ; elles étaient aux petits soins.

We've just returned from a superb week at the Alpine Refuge and we really couldn't be happier. Cherie and Dave were amazing hosts and made us feel we were amongst friends. They went out of their way to be helpful and accommodate our requirements. The atmosphere, cuisine and cocktails they provided are now sadly missed..... Our group of family and friends included kids and non skiers and we all felt at home at the chalet. ||||The chalet is a short and easily accessible walk out of town, it has beautiful views over the valley and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. We were lucky enough to have the chalet to ourselves for the week and so got a great bargain. Airport transfers were smooth and Daily transfers to the slopes worked out brilliantly. Everything was of a very high standard. Having said all of that I think it was Cherie and Dave who went a long way to make our stay unforgettable for all the right reasons.

De retour de Morzine il y a une semaine, nous avons passé un séjour formidable. Nous avions opté pour la formule chalet avec repas et nous n'avons pas été déçus du tout. Cherie et Dave étaient des hôtes exceptionnels et attentionnés, qui se sont mis en quatre pour que nous passions un excellent séjour. La cuisine était raffinée, l'emplacement idéal pour les pistes, les lits et les chambres très confortables et le chalet magnifique ! Il y avait même des chauffe-chaussures pour que nos pieds restent bien au chaud le matin. Je recommande vivement ce chalet ! Nous avons réservé par l'intermédiaire de The Great Escape, qui a été formidable.

Ce chalet est fabuleux et tenu par des personnes adorables. C'était notre deuxième séjour au ski à Morzine et notre deuxième au Chalet Alpine Refuge. Les hôtes sont fantastiques année après année. Le séjour dépasse toujours nos attentes et nous prévoyons déjà d'y retourner pour la troisième fois ! :)

We have recently returned from a fantastic week at the Alpine Refuge. We were lucky with the weather being glorious sunshine all week with good snow. The chalet is a beautiful place to stay, the rooms are spacious and provide all you need for a great week skiing. The beds are comfortable and there is always plenty of hot water. The hot tub is also a welcome extra to soak aching legs.||||Lucy and Griff, the chalet hosts were just excellent, a great team who not only produced fabulous food, but were very knowledgeable about other activities in the area and were great fun with it. Nothing was too much trouble. Simply excellent.||||The booking of the holiday was also very easy through Sam and Darren who own the Great Escape Company. They made us feel very welcome and again nothing was too much trouble. We could not fault the whole trip. ||||My wife and I would defiantly book with this company again.

We have stayed in a few different Catered Chalets in the Alps but this was by far the best. The owners, Darren & Sam made the booking process simple and efficient. They even helped with transfers, recommending ski schools and ordered our lift passes for us which made organising everything very simple.||||On arrival our hosts, Lucy & Griff gave us a very warm welcome and helped us with our cases into the chalet. The chalet was beautiful and they had the fire roaring for us and a cold beer waiting, what a great start.||||During the week, our hosts couldn't have been more helpful, they had simply thought of everything. The food would not have been out of place in a top end restaurant and was perfect after a long days skiing.||||The rooms were very comfortable, clean and warm. The lounge and dining areas were cosy and relaxing. It was so nice to have a hot tub in the chalet to unwind after a hard days skiing.||||The location was perfect, especially with Griff on hand to drop us off at the slopes in the morning! Le ski était excellent, avec une grande variété de pistes pour tous les niveaux. ||||Dans l'ensemble, nous recommandons sans hésiter cette station, le chalet et surtout les hôtes exceptionnels. Un petit avertissement : se réhabituer à la vie sans Lucy et Griff une fois rentré à la maison est très difficile !

We've just got back from a week at Alpine Refuge. It was a fantastic experience, the atmosphere of the chalet was friendly and welcoming. Sam was really helpful planning the holiday, Darren and Jack entertaining and Lucy and Griff couldn't have done more for us. They were superb hosts, producing beautiful meals all week and always willing to give that little bit more .We would thoroughly recommend a stay in this beautiful chalet.

Spent a week at Alpine Refuge as a group of 10 family and friends. Support by Sam and Darren for booking and arranging lessons, passes etc made it very easy. Superb chalet and facilities including the hot tub which was just what was needed at the end of a day on the slopes especially with a G&T in hand. Lucy and Griff were amazing hosts, food was excellent and I was well catered for as a veggie and that doesn't happen often abroad! They also advised on places to go in the evening if you wanted to sample the apres ski - would recommend Dixies Bar with its Irish band. Chalet is beautiful, spacious and well furnished. Can't wait until next year!
